Brunswick SlingshotToday we're profiling the Brunswick Slingshot.  The Slingshot is an entry level performance ball from Brunswick that comes in six different colors.  Another comforting factor is you know you're getting quality when you go with Brunswick.

Coverstock

The Slingshot features Brunswick's PowrKoil 17 Reactive coverstock. PowrKoil 17 is a mild reactive coverstock that creates length with a medium response to friction on dry to medium-dry lane conditions. The Slingshot comes in a wide array of pearlized colors that will surely match your style.

The Core

The Slingshot is constructed of a two-piece shaped dynamic core, making it the first ball in its class with this technology.  This two-piece core allows for multiple drilling options, while also giving strong hitting power. This type of performance can't be achieved with the three-piece pancake weight-block core that you will find in competitor's balls in this price range.

Ball Motion

The balls finish is a high gloss, giving the Slingshot good length and allowing it to maintain a strong backend reaction.  This ball will work very well on a dry to medium-dry lane for all types of bowling styles with its high gloss finish, the Slingshot will provide good length with a strong continuous backend reaction that is best suited on dry to medium-dry lane conditions.  This finish allows for consistent performance for a wide range of bowling styles.

Engineering

The core in the Brunswick Slingshot allows for a ball weight of 12-16 pounds.  Allowing for bowlers to get consistent reactions from their ball across these weight ranges and this is the way that the folks at Brunswick intended it to be. They give you a ball that will perform the same on a consistent basis allowing you to bowl a better game.
