Bowling has come in a lot of different forms over the years. Ten-pin bowling, has become the one most are familiar with today. Bowling dates back to Ancient Egypt and even the Roman Empire. In Rome legionaries threw stones in the direction of other stones objects, which resembles the modern structure.

Ten-pin bowling's first standardized rules were created in New York City in 1895. Now the sport is enjoyed by over 95 million people in countries all over the globe, not to mention the countless bowling video games. 

For some people setting the pins up by hand is a cherished memory. Today it's hard to imagine someone sitting on the lanes removing dead wood and setting up the pins. Don't even get us started on the nostalgia of keeping score by hand. Those days are gone now, but the present and future of bowling are bright.

A lot of things will change about the game in the future, but there is one thing about the game that will never change. That amazing feeling of watching ten pins fall when you get that strike!
