Good for the purpose

Bowling shoes' covers are expendable, we all know that.
But some are more expendable than others. In my experience, I had those that could not survive a season and those that survived the shoes they protected ))
These ones look reliable and fit nicely over my new shoes. We'll see how long they will last but from the look/feel of them, they will.

Accessory heaven

The size chart shows that a Large would fit a Men's 8.5 - 10.5. The XL fits a Men's 11 - 13 so unless the shoe is very bulky or a wider width I would stick with the Large.
