Debating on the two spinner machines, 1/2 and 1/3 horsepower.. is one not enough spin? Or is one too much? Will both work?

If you were intending to mostly use this for sanding and resurfacing bowling balls then the 1/2 horsepower is the way to go. If you were mostly using this to polish or clean the bowling balls with only occasionally resurfacing bowling balls then the 1/3 horsepower would be fine.
