Does the ball compartment have padding, ball separators and bottom protection for the balls?

Answer:
At the bottom of the ball compartment there are molded ball cups which hold the bowling balls in place. There will be a divider between the two bowling balls which is padded to keep them from hitting each other but there is not any other padding necessary on this to keep the balls safe because they stay in place in the ball cups and in ball compartment.

There will be a divider between the two bowling balls which is padded to keep them in place and from hitting each other with the zipper top closed during transport.
