House Shot Killer
Bought this ball from this site right after release and it arrived super fast. I bowled many sweepers and in a summer league and I've used this ball a ton. It has been perfect for me on house shot on fresh but lacks a little bit of strength for longer patterns or heavier oil on the fresh. Rolls very similar to my storm Phaze2 but just a touch cleaner. Highly recommend as a benchmark ball in a league arsenal.

Took some Surface prep
I have thrown the Primal Shock for about a month now and have drilled it two different ways a 4” pin and a 5” pin. Out of the box I feel like the Cover/Core combo were fighting each other. I personally had to take the ball down to 360 then work my way back up to 1000, and then I started liking the ball reaction. At 1000 the primal gives me early predicable read with consistent forward roll when it makes its move. This one struggles on the house pattern but excels on flatter patterns before I need to Open up the lane. For me not an everyday ball but, a useful ball to have in my tournament bag.

Perfect step up from the Venom Shock!
I've been a huge fan of the High Impulse core from the Supra Enzo and Original Supra since they came out, and I never had the chance to throw any pieces from the Primal line before they were discontinued. So when this one was announced, I was extremely excited. I was not disappointed in any way. The Primal Shock is the perfect step up from a Venom Shock with some extra pop downlane. The higher differential and higher RG combined with the super versatile Turmoil MFS cover creates possibly the most versatile ball we have released since the Venom Shock or Jackal Ghost. This one will be in the line for a very long time and fits any style of bowler.

Motiv Primal Shock
Bought mine a few weeks ago, one of my staples in my league and tournament bag now. Had a primal rage remix that I love so decided to add the shock to the collection. The ultimate benchmark ball.

Primal Shock
The Primal Shock is the newest ball in our line and fits in the Medium-Heavy oil controllable category. Bowlers will find this ball to be strong in the mid lane and also strong down lane. I’ve found the Primal Shock most useable when the lane is fresh and as they transition it’s a great versatile piece to cover all of your wants and needs.
The Primal Shock has the Impulse V2 core found in the Primal Rage. The Impulse V2 core gives the Primal Shock a strong down lane motion for Medium-Heavy volumes of oil.
The Primal Shock has the Turmoil MFS reactive cover, providing a controllable mid lane motion without losing down lane motion. The Primal Shock is perfect combination of two of Motiv’s most popular balls of all time, the Venom Shock and the Primal Rage.

ITS SHOCKING !
Sometimes equipment just feels right in your hands. For me that is the Jackal Line of bowling balls. Sometimes its the core shape sometimes its the shell and sometimes its just the confidence it brings knowing it gives you the best possible opportunity to STRIKE! - The Jackal Ambush does not disappoint. My love for the Jackal Ghost just became even more evident in where this new AMBUSH fits - The extra strength early with the finish I expect from My Ghost truly makes this such a complimentary piece in my bag!

Answer:
Hi Ron! This ball will react earlier on the lanes, so if you are looking for something with a little more length you may try a hybrid or pearl coverstock ball.
