Great Next Step!
This is a great ball for those who are in the beginner stages of bowling! It's the next step up from using a plastic/spare ball. It does have a very slight hook so keep that in mind while bowling. It's best to use this ball in addition to a spare ball.

Question:
excuse my ignorance but this is for candlepin bowling correct?

Question:
I am 73 and only throw about 12 mph, so I need a harder ball that still has some back end finish. Would this work?
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
This ball is designed to finish with a decent backend hook if you bowl it in lighter oil conditions. If you try this in medium or heavier oil then it may not be stronger enough to come back unfortunately and you may need something more suited for those lane conditions.

Question:
My wife wants her first personal ball. A nine pound house ball is her physical limit, 8 is better. A 100 game is a good day but she has some natural hook and wants to take advantage of it. This ball is the best fit I can find. What do you think?
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
In 8lbs there really is only one choice for a performance ball. Most performance balls would start at 10lbs and even those options you are really just paying to get a better coverstock but you will not get much for the weight block. That is the case with this Twist. The coverstock will be much better on this ball than a plastic ball which will give you some hook potential. You could also refinish this ball to a duller finish to help the ball grip more if you want to get more hook out of it.

Question:
If l purchased two Twist bowling balls and kept 1 polished and the other just wet sanded would it change the hook on the lane?
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
Yes, if you were to have one with a duller finish and keep one polished that would give you a different reaction and the duller ball could work better in medium oil while the polished ball would still be best in lighter oil.

Question:
Will different drilling layout effect the hook of say two twist bowling balls (1 green and black, the other purple and red)?
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
Yes, if you use different drilling layouts you can see a little bit of a different reaction for these bowling balls. If you combine a different drilling layout and also a different finish for two twists you can really see a big difference.

Question:
Is this Symmetrical or asymmetric ?
Have an answer to this question?
Question:
I’m new to this so does it come with the holes in it and do u have to tell them ur finger sizes
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
The ball does not start out with holes. We do offer drilling for an extra fee if you want us to do the drilling or you may decline this and get the ball without holes so that you can have a local proshop measure your hand and drill the ball to fit you perfectly.

Question:
What does the protection/warranty cover?
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
The platinum protection is an option which helps make the warranty process quicker and also cheaper because it may cover your shipping expenses if you had to return a ball back under warranty. The double warranty extends the warranty by one extra year. The normal warranty on this ball is 1 year so it would make it 2 years with the double warranty.

Question:
I have been bowling for 30 years and a few years ago I swapped to 2 handed style (and currently have a 190+or - a couple pins adv.) I get way more rotation on my ball than down lane speed I have been told I need a ball with a low diffentral currently I'm using a Storm Mix urathane with a 006 diffentral and over time I have been able to increase my speed to the point of overthrowing it so now I'm looking for something a little stronger so I will get a harder hit. I know nothing about how to lay a ball out for drilling If I get my fingerhole size could you all at Bowling.com figure out me a pattern on a Brunswick Twist
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
We currently only offer basic drilling for this ball so we could not do a performance layout. You could get the ball without drilling and have it drilled by a local proshop where they can measure and give you a layout that fits your style.

Question:
Does it matter if I’m left handee
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
This ball can be drilled for either right handed or left handed bowlers. You would just have to make sure the drilling is for left handed to be able to use this.
