Best bowling shoes I've owned!
These are some awesome shoes. I just got them yesterday in time before league night and the fitted just right. The shoes look better than in the pics and feel so comfortable. I'm ocd about how my shoes feel and always want the same amount of tightness on both and thenew Boa system really makes it easier and convenient for quick use.

This shoe can work for either right or left handed bowlers just by switching the pads from one shoe to the other. So you can put the traction sole on either shoe and the slide sole on either shoe.

I have one of the older versions of the SST 8s wides. Do these fit the same as the original ones?

There will usually be a slight difference in the last and shape of the shoes from one version to the next but the sizing should be very close. I would suggest the True Fit if you have any doubts on the sizing but you will likely be able to wear the same size across the same brand of shoes.

So if you roll the ball with you right hand your slide pad on your shoe should be on the left shoe

If you bowl right handed you typically slide on the opposite foot so the slide would be on the left shoe. This shoe can be changed out so that the slide will work on either foot and the traction will work on either foot so it works for both right or left handed bowlers.

Does this shoe come with different slides for the sole? Or do we pay for those seperate?

Only comes with 1 set of soles. Additional soles have to be bought separately. For instance, the S8 is too tacky for our lanes; so, I had to buy an S9 separately.

Hi Joey, unfortunately we do not have an instruction video for changing the soles. The soles are simply attached to the shoe by velro, so you can remove the sole and attach the next sole or heel to the same adhesive pad on the shoe.
