Universal shoes will have slide soles on both feet and they can technically work for both right or left handed bowlers because both feet can slide. The soles are fixed to the shoes and cannot be removed or interchanged.

If the shoe says wide in the name of the shoe then the sizes in the selection box are all wide sizes. If you wanted standard width you would have to go to the Raquel V that does not say wide in the name.
